We’re finalising this document with our legal advisers ahead of launch. If anything is unclear, email [email protected].
1. About these terms
These terms form the agreement between Oneanswer Ltd (“Oneanswer”) and the business that creates an account (“you”). By creating an account you confirm you are acting for a business and have authority to accept them.
2. The service
Oneanswer provides AI-assisted call answering, related automation and reporting. Features may change as the service develops; we will not materially reduce the core service during a paid period without notice.
3. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate business information for your receptionist and keep it up to date. The receptionist relies on what you approve.
- Give callers any notices the law requires, including privacy information and, where you enable recording, a recording notice.
- Have a lawful basis for any outbound or marketing contact and respect the TPS/CTPS and direct marketing rules.
- Keep account credentials secure and make sure your team uses the service lawfully.
4. AI limitations
AI responses can be wrong. Oneanswer is designed to answer only from your approved information, to confirm consequential actions and to hand over to a person when unsure, but you remain responsible for decisions made on your behalf and should review call outcomes regularly. Do not use Oneanswer for emergency services.
5. Fees, usage and caps
Plans include the call minutes and limits shown on the pricing page at the time you subscribe. Usage above the included amount is charged at your plan’s overage rate, up to any spending cap you set. Fees are exclusive of VAT.
6. Data protection
For call data you are the controller and we are your processor. Our data processing agreement forms part of these terms.
7. Suspension and termination
You can cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period. We may suspend accounts for non-payment, security risk or serious misuse, and will tell you why.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, each party’s total liability is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months before the claim, and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or business.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
